Cost of a picture

We've all heard the saying a picture is worth a thousand words, but does it ever cost anything? Most of the time it wouldn't, but when I was rushing to capture a snowy embrace of my friends it almost cost me a Nikon SB-24. While trying to get an off camera flash on a light stand outside, a fan smacked my flash. Low ceiling fans and flashes are not a good mix.

In the end it was worth it, and I found out SB-24s are pretty durable :)
